Feabie.com is one of a few social networking sites for feeders who think that bigger is better. Primarily a space for hanging out with other larger singles, it is also somewhere that you can choose to have fun with online dating, should you wish. Coining its name from the Fee in feeder and the Bee in BBW, it is pronounced “Phoebe.” We take a look in more detail in our Feabie review.

It is a social networking platform for singles and other people of all ages that are looking to meet and socialize with other feeders and larger people. Here you can write to people with the same interests, and such platforms are the right decision when it comes to dedicated dating. It is also a dating site for BBW and BHM – those that want to meet fellow singles that think bigger is better.

Half of Feabie’s membership is made up of singles under the age of 29 and is weighted (pardon the pun) in favor of women. BBW women are very much in the majority on this dating site with many BBW singles looking for anything from friendship to dating and marriage. The average BMI of a member is 32.5. In fact, half of the users fall into the obese category.

Does Feabie has an App?

The good news for those that like to date on the go is there is a Feabie app. It is free to download and is available both on iOS and Android, which means that pretty much anyone can access the site whatever type of device they have and write to other people anytime.

While it is free to sign up to the dating site and use many of the functions, it will actually cost to upgrade to a premium membership to unlock all of the tools. The value is not that high, by the way. Free membership entitles the users to add their details, upload photos, and many more functions, while Feabie XL allows you to customize your news feed and see who is in your area.

Our Experience on Feabie.com

The Sign-Up Process

The registration process starts with entering your name, email address, etc. on the homepage. You have to state what you are looking for and then agree to the terms. At this stage, we got a little confused as it asked us to log in; however, we didn’t have a password. You have to wait for the account activation email before you can progress.

Creating a Profile

When it came to creating a BBW dating profile, we were presented with a grey and quite busy form. It was a very plain and uninspiring form, the kind that you might fill in for a bank account, not for having fun online. It also asks for quite a lot of information – social media profile details, YouTube account, etc. Some may find it a little unnerving given so much away, especially if hoping to remain anonymous.

Searching for a Date

There are quite a lot of boxes to fill out for a detailed search, like on many other dedicated sites. This is a positive thing as it means you can be very specific about what you are looking for; however, we weren’t sure that we knew enough about BMI to determine this as one of our search factors. It can be time-consuming to input all of the fields. Be sure to tell the site what you want, whether that’s a friend or a marriage!

Contacting Members

There are a few ways in which to express your interest in a member. You can follow them, in which case they will get a notification, or you can choose to send a message. You can also request access to see their photos. While there seem to be a number of genuine users, there are also a number of fakes.

Feabie Review Conclusion

While it is one of the not difficult sites to navigate and use, there were a couple of glitchy things that we uncovered during our time carrying out our own Feabie review. For a start, the password on sign up could only be input if it had arrived straight away. We weren’t impressed at how difficult it was to find any information on the pricing of the membership unless you are ready to pay. The site is quite uninspiring and lacking in design too. It’s a bit bland, although the Feabie app does make it better to date on the move. We know that it can be difficult to find matches on this kind of site, but still, we didn’t find what we were looking for.
